A set of flashcards for: cloudy, rainy, snowy, sunny, windy, hot, warm, cool, cold.

Pages: 9

How to use:

Note:

The image for "cool" is an attempt to help students recall that "cool" can mean both 'hip; niffty' and the temperature meaning. This also helps students recall the difference between "warm" and "cool".

This set is very helpful to get the students use to warm-up questions regarding the weather such as "How's the weather?" or "Is it sunny?" and to do interviews with other students to get them speaking.

For Example:
Have students ask 2 people in the class "How's the weather?" and let them say what the weather actually is or make it up.
