You can use any picture, but I found that the attached picture is very sufficient.
Divide the class into groups
1. First they must write down all the colors they see. Every group must tell how colors they have. One student of each group will write down their group colors on the board. Teacher keep score. You get a point for each color.
2. Explain the term "objects"
Students must write down all the objects they see.
Each group tells how many objects did the write down.
One student of each group must write their objects on the board. You get a point for each object. Teacher keep score
3. Write a paragraph about the picture
Give them an example: The picture is beautiful an colorful.
Then: Students must create one sentence about the picture in the group to write down on the board. One student of each group must write down the sentence. You get a point for each word in the sentence. (Make a rule that there can only be one "and" in the sentence)
Teacher counts up all the points and the winning group can get candy
Other activities: Question: What is the elephant doing?
Answer: The elephant is sitting
Teacher point to the lion. The student must ask the question and give the answer. (Point to the other animals as well and do the same prosess)
