Students will read a paragraph and respond by writing a paragraph stating their own opinion about the topic (where Brad and Angelina should spend vacation with their children). This is good practice for debates.
Pages: 2
How to use:
Students make groups of five. Make a copy of the sentences on the second page for each group and cut them apart. Each student receives one sentence and gets one minute to memorize it. Then, without looking at the sentence, they put the paragraph in order by talking to each other. Don't let the students write anything down. When they think they have the sentences in the correct order, the teacher listens to them as they say the paragraph. Next, give each student a copy of the worksheet with the paragraph and have them write their own paragraph, stating their opinion and giving reasons.
